One Last Hope?

With the next few games comes the remaining hopes of many Raptor faithfuls that dangerously hang on a single thread.

Bosh is expected to return to the lineup tomorrow when the Raptors suit up against the Knickerbockers at MSG. This will be the first time President & GM Bryan Colangelo and many fans will get to see if the Bosh-Marion-Calderon-Bargnani mix have any potential. Will it be a success? Or just another one of Colangelo's recent pattern of one bad move after another? Of course the next few games is a small sample size to judge success on, but didn't we also say that at the beginning of the short-lived JO era?

The Raptors also made a minor transaction today, shipping out barely-utilized Will Solomon to the Sacremento Kings in a three-way deal involving the Boston Celtics receiving 7'0" center Patrick O'Bryant. O'Bryant was drafted 9th overall in 2006 by the Golden State Warriors but has not lived up to expectations. It may be a minor move, but it's a much needed addition to the already slim front court. Who knows, he might turn out to be Keon Clark version 2.0.
